Vietnam: Male student infected with A/H5 influenza
21-year-old male student, staying in Nha Trang University dormitory .. was hospitalized and tested positive for influenza A/H5. The N number has not yet been determined.

23 deaths were due to influenza, 15 to RSV, two to Rhinovirus, and one to parainfluenza.
Of the victims, 21 were aged between 0 and 9 yrs, seven were between 33 and 58 years old, and 13 were older than 60 years old.

Due to the outbreak of flu and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndromes in Amapá, the Brazilian Navy sent 12 thousand tons of oxygen to the public hospital network.
Italy: Covid cases up by 28.5%, deaths up 48% in one week.
Incidence stood at 48 for every 100,000 inhabitants in the period between 14 April and 20 April 2023, against 37 in the previous survey.
