A common misunderstanding about learning disabilities:

Just because I'm good at other things does not mean I'm not disabled. My LD (dyscalculia) does not affect ALL my functions.
#InternationalDisabilityDay2021 Example: teachers thought I was lazy or anxious or just didn't like math because I was a total rockstar at spelling and writing. No.

While dyslexia and dyscalculia can be comorbid (occur together), in my case, they're not. I do exhibit signs of mild dyspraxia.

Since I have a bunch of friends in Europe, I get exposed to their traditions on a regular basis, including holiday films, etc.

So today, I shall watch "Tri orisky pro Popelku," or "Three Nuts (Wishes) for Cinderella" (1973). DVD cover with a girl in a ... Typical small village getting ready for Christmas.

I've been thinking a lot about this thread on @NancyPelosi and #impeachment since I posted it and about stuff that's happened since.

And I've changed my mind, though I still stand by all the bits past the baby sloth.

I've been thinking about the last two years, where we are now, and where we're going.

Like many of you, I'm used to things moving very slowly. The last two years, they've been running at breakneck speed toward the edge of a cliff.

They're not slowing down, so we can't either.
