1/ The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled 4-3 against Trump in yet another defeat. The fact that the court was this split, however, is disturbing. 1/ The only thing more disgusting than the GOP's refusal to break with the most corrupt president we've ever had is their utter contempt and hatred of the brave civil servants without whom our country could not function. These people keep us safe and secure, working without . . . 2/ . . . recognition or thanks. They work incredibly long hours at difficult jobs, often for very little pay. They suffered greatly during the last government shutdown. They are truly the unsung heroes of our country.

1/ A lot of people rightfully complain that far too many Congresspeople are in Congress for decades, and such a thing should never happen. It's actually antithetical to the the vision the founders had for our country. 2/ But it just dawned on me that the people who seem to be most vocal about people being in Congress for far too long are generally Republicans.
