In honor of #LaborDay, a thread of our recent work on labor justice: We’ve worked with a broad coalition to defend the legality of President Biden’s federal contractor minimum wage increase.

We filed a brief urging the 9th Circuit to uphold the increase, underscoring the administration used its lawful authority to empower minimum wage workers.

Florida’s state government is training public school librarians to comply with the state’s censorship law. This is terrifying enough.

But unfortunately, there’s more. 1/ The government intends to rely on an appointed workgroup to develop the training. One participant touts her membership in an organization opposed to books “they say promote Islam, socialism, sex, LGBTQ identity, evolutionary science, climate change, or gun control.” 2/
