So many #insulin4all posts involve heartbreaking stories of rationing and struggle to just stay alive. It is important for us to hear this, but it's more important for those of us with privilege and fridges full of insulin to speak out. It could so easily be us. 1/ To put the burden on people who are fighting for their very existence is the essence of privilege. Those of us with good insurance and good jobs have a duty to fight for those who don't. The price of insulin is an insane example of the broken American healthcare system. 2/
