1. Why should RTI and PBIS be integrated into #MTSS?
Because dealing with academic instruction & behaviour/engagement/wellbeing in isolation misses the mark. Kids may misbehave because they can't read the set work. Kids excluded from classrooms/schools miss core instruction.
2. Research shows that RTI missed the mark, focusing on intervention instead of core instruction, & overlooking how to support students to attend & engage in learning by teaching prosocial and learning behaviours. Its roots in special ed subverted its aims edresearch.edu.au/sites/default/…

Thread. 1. So after two years of strict self-isolation, mask wearing, sanitising, hand washing, and three doses of vaccine, I have contracted COVID. I am immunocompromised and live with #Disability.
2. I tested positive on Saturday. I have chronic lung disease and an high risk of complications. My GP was closed. Other GP clinics I have attended would not offer me telehealth appointments as I have not physically attended their premises within the last 12 months
