Recently I sat on a promotion panel as an external observer for which I had to read about 100 applications. Here are my takeaways 🧵: 1/
Women - do not, I repeat, do not over-wait on applying for promotion. You are qualified, probably more qualified than any men you work with. I cannot stress enough how I see numerous women's CVs and wonder why they are only applying now when they should have done it years ago. 2/
