I keep thinking about this divine @NatashaOladokun banger. The way the sentences work with and against the line. The clever syntax that subjects me while the speaker is being subordinated by God. The eros, pathos and humor in it. Anyway, some thoughts to exorcise it from my mind: The poem's lines are so dynamic. When I see long lines, I think of Grossman (s/o @kafkaboy). I interpret long lines to have social concerns, a prophet breathless in a public space. This poem plays with that. It's an address too, "I asked God for the moon," which suggests dialogue

Before the attention goes away remember that occupation & sustained demonstration is v much a part of Seattle's civil rights tradition which—whether #CHOP #CHAZ knows it—they've inherited.
