Went through $KL Detour LoM transcript. Long but worth effort. Tony Makuch & Co envisage much larger mine then currently reflected in reserves. Transformation could lead to substantial growth in mineral reserves, larger design, ⬆️ pdn, improved costs = significant value creation. Some interesting comments from Tony: “In fact, we believe we are on a very similar value creation journey with Detour that we went on after acquiring Fosterville in November 2016 and what was accomplished with the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake in 2017 and 2018.”
