Unbelievable
This conference has given more floor time to the international orgs and less to the local responses.
They’re clearly positioning themselves to get more funding (of course). But how will they convince donors after a year of neglecting the local responses that has been more effective in executing their operations than INGOs?
If they want more funding, they should include more representatives from Sudans local emergency responders. The ones that managed to get out at least & listen to them!
Of course I’m going to be critical, I want what’s best for my people.
