#SamarBadawi, a #Saudi activist who was arrested several times. She is behind bars since July 2018, during the crackdown on female activists who were calling for women’s right to drive & to end the male guardianship system. Samar faced various violations & ill-treatment. She was banned from any kind of contact with the outside, even with her family & lawyers, faced verbal abuse & sexual harassment, & tortured with electric shocks. She is now in jail over her calls for laws which has been amended! #ReleasePrisonersOfConscience
