Here we go: @EUClimateAction's Communication on "Sustainable Carbon Cycles". The most explicit policy document to date on the role of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) in the EU's efforts to reach #NetZero GHG emissions by 2050. ec.europa.eu/transparency/d… The Commission identifies three "key actions" to "establish sustainable and climate-resilient carbon cycles":

▶️drastically reduce our reliance on carbon
▶️recycle carbon
▶️upscale carbon removal solutions
