Interesting how most of the recs for Korean Cinema given following #BongJoonHo #ParasiteMovie #Oscars wins heavily feature violence. This says more about #FilmTwitter than it does South Korean audiences. There is plenty of non-violent Korean Cinema to watch. Here's a brief list 'w' marks films directed by women. Start w/ 1996, when New Korean Cinema began cuz Bong is part of NKC. Some films might have scenes of violence I have forgotten, but they are in no way heavily violent
