Lucien Agoumé Scouting Thread 🧵
Agoumé is a top destructive midfielder, but also an excellent passer from many areas, reading movement well and weighting his passes perfectly.
He is quickly becoming an option for many top sides, including Man United, Spurs and Arsenal...
| Progressive Passer & Destructive Defender Hybrid
He is quick in possession, often playing a vertical pass with his first or second touch. This makes him highly efficient with the ball, able to play through the lines...

How to earn the ETH threshold #1 - Home Advantage 🧵
With the change in system used for hitting the ETH threshold, we need to adapt our approach.
But some people may not want to trade in/out of cards.
Here is a solution…
#sorare
Our Problem - we need to hit 250pts using players who average no more than 240 points combined.
Our Preference - we don’t want to be trading cards week-to-week (which may be the obvious way to beat the new threshold).

If you're gonna nutmeg Zidane, you need to get your redraft right.
Yet your competition think the same, so how do we select our reinforcements?
Here are the key factors you must consider to maximise your Global Cup redraft.
#sorare
First, some quick details on the redraft game mechanic
- Before the R16, you’re given 50pts to spend.
- You must buy 1 player from each position, for a total of 4 players.
(These two previous rules apply to ALL THREE redrafts.)

Tactical Variations in S05 Competitions 🎲
A thread of tips and tricks for each S05 competition, to help you exploit the meta and win cards.
As this allows any league, it is financially optimal to use cheaper regions (Asia/America) rather than more expensive European cards.
There is nothing wrong with using EU cards, but this allows you to win the more expensive EU cards while using the cheaper Asia/Am cards.

How to trade Special competitions 💰
This thread breaks down a really easy and effective low-budget trading method, which can easily make you 0.1+eth a week from a 0.3+eth investment.
#sorare
Trading players used in limited special competitions is a really effective method as the 'meta' players change week to week.
In specialists, most people buy at least one card for their lineup, because the u40 average cap is so restrictive.

Using SorareData better 🧵
Here are 7 really useful features on @SorareData which I believe are being under-utilised by many players, including both S05 and trading tools.

Following some early European transfers, here are 3 Elite tier u23 stacks to consider for the new season, with Mid and Lower tier options coming this weekend 👀
PSG have signed creative midfielder Vitinha for ~£37m.
Following poor midfield signings in the last few seasons, they lack a trusted midfield trio behind their forward line.
Despite playing with just 3, they had six CMs with over 1200 minutes last season.

Random Sorare Tips you've probably never heard before 📖
This is a mixture of S05, trading and general Sorare tricks that you only find through experience🧵
#sorare1. When a card is selling at auction, a losing bidder may buy a listed card instead of competing in the auction.
Due to the incremental bidding system, in this example, they cannot bid below 0.627.
So now you know they are aiming to pay <0.627, so push them close to that price.

Why you should buy Super Rare Keepers & Defenders for D3 🧵
It's a common theory that using SR defenders and, in particular, keepers in D3 is a bad choice, and therefore you should not buy them unless playing D2.
I disagree, here's why:
#sorare
The main reason people say you should use SR midfielder/forwards in D3, is so you get the extra 20% bonus on your typically higher ceiling scorers.
Simply, the 20% bonus from SRs is worth more on higher scores.

Gameweek Deadline Trading -
This method is pretty simple. It involves selling high-demand cards close to the deadline, as buyers are desperate to pick up the player.
#sorare
People scramble for cards as it gets close to the GW deadline (particularly weekend deadline). Owners are less willing to sell close to deadline, as they are planning to use the card. Because of this, supply is tight and demand is high, so people are willing to overpay for cards.

For any sorare users confused by the @CharlotteFC expansion draft, it is pretty common for the new team to pick up pre-agreed players and immediately trade them to other MLS teams, in return for allocation money.
#sorare
Allocation money, GAM and TAM, is 'extra' money available to MLS sides on top of the salary cap.
