1. Lalitaditya's hiring of Mercenaries from outside especially Central Asia peaked during Utpala Shankaravarmans rule.
2. Post Shankaravarman most of the Kashmiri kings became pawns in the hands Of factions like Tantrins, Ekangas, Damaras and Lavanyas.
3. To overcome them Kashmiri Kings hired more central asian mercenaries who had converted to Islam by the time of Loharas.
4. Presence of Islamised Turks in the military and advisory roles made Kings to behave like

We know only Princess Rajyashri as the direct surviving relative of The Emperor, who already became a widow after her marriage and eventually became a nun. According to Banabhatta's Harshacharita, the Emperor took a vow of Brahmacharya until he had conquered the earth.

But the Emperor married in later years of his life and had a daughter whose hand was given in marriage to the Maukhari King Dhruvasena II Baladitya.
