Did you know that more than 1/2 of America's physicians work in independent practices?
A 2018 @AMA survey "found that over half of private sector physicians work at practices wholly owned by physicians (54%) while 35% work at practices at least partially owned by hospitals... or are direct hospital employees and 11% work at practices owned by non-profit foundations or other entities."
