In a casual conversation with my father during my brother’s wedding last week, he mentioned how I needed to start exercising because I was putting on weight . 🙄
Considering I’m leaner and fitter than I have been in years....
...( the two don’t always go together in my case💁🏻♀️- I’ve been really chubby and super fit - good running stamina, strength & flexibility, and very lean and very unfit - read no stamina, strength & flexibility) I was REALLY cheesed off.

Was shocked but not surprised to see the Indian tourist theft video. Having interned at a hotel briefly, and then with lots of friends in the hospitality business, I'm privy to some pretty bizzare stuff. And then when you travel a lot and make friends with hotel folks- more so
Hotels expect that you'll take bathroom supplies like soap, shampoo, etc, and I suppose it's par for the course ( included in tariff,etc). But if you're well known ( famous type) it becomes a talking point. "You know so and so totally cleaned out ALL the freebies from his room"

When a woman speaks up it’s an act of bravery. Whether she speaks up after a day, a decade or 19 years, is immaterial.

I see a lot folks, men & women, counter those #MeToo victims who are outing their tormentors after an ‘extended’ period saying that there was always a choice to walk away, that strong women give it back , why speak up now, when they were ‘complicit’ & ‘agreed’ to be exploited ...
