Savarkar - a thread

1. “It was fanatical wing of Hindu Mahasabha directly under Savarkar that (hatched) the conspiracy & saw it through."- From Sardar Patel’s letter to Nehru on Gandhi’s assassination. As HM, he was monitoring the case (Sardar Patel's Correspondence, Vol6, pg56) 2. Savarkar gave Godse an advance of Rs 15,000 in 1944 to start a newspaper called Agrani. Godse was its editor & the newspaper dutifully disseminated Savarkar's viciously anti-Gandhi propaganda.

.@RahulGandhi always understood the importance of vaccination, while PM prematurely declare victory over covid without vaccines. Had he been PM, he would ensure a free and fair universal vaccination program. Image GoI first ridiculed/cast aspersions on @RahulGandhi for demanding to open India to all vaccines and then announced that they're opening up to foreign-made vaccines and celebrated it like it was their idea. Imagine, had he been PM, this would've been done much much earlier. Image

This disgusting hatemonger & serial fake news peddler, @ippatel has been appointed standing counsel for Goa.
@DrPramodPSawant have you rewarded him for his communal hatred? Looks like you agree with him. Please come clean and don't mock us. This mentality doesn't represent Goa! ImageImageImageImage More screenshots: ImageImageImageImage

How COVID became a man-made crisis:
1. Ignored the warnings, took virus lightly
2. Organized super-spreader event Namaste Trump
3. Suddenly panicked & imposed unplanned lockdown
4. Did not show empathy to daily wagers, migrant workers. Killed 100s. (1/n)
#SpeakUpToSaveLives 5. Let migrant workers suffer instead of helping them
6. Put headline management above help, stopped opposition parties from helping migrant workers
7. Decreased testing instead of ramping-up during lockdown
8. Made medical staff struggle & fight for PPE kits

If @RahulGandhi was our Prime Minister, he would have handled the #COVID situation much much better. Here's why (Thread👇): He had figured out the dangers of the virus back on 12th Feb 2020. While the govt was busy planning campaign for PM of another country with Namaste Trump preps with massive gatherings and while living in denial. @RahulGandhi would've started taking preventive action in time.

Ok I have to do this. I always had a keen interest in politics just had NO IDEA how to enter. Honestly, I never even thought I'd ever be a part of the system in anyway because which middle class person with NO political background or backing even gets here 🤷‍♀️
Thread 👇 And then I came across NSUI elections. As it turns out, when @RahulGandhi as AICC GS became the in-charge of NSUI & IYC, he put his vision of opening up the system into practice. He wanted to open the doors of the Congress party to everyone - irrespective of anything.

I have never spoken about this publicly. Back in 2014 after I appeared in a congress ad just before elections, the BJP ran an organized online attack against me. And I can't begin to express the kind of anxiety me and my family went through during that period. They abused me, targetted my character, accused me of being involved in a 300Cr scam, said I had been to jail, tried to use the online campaign to file an FIR against me. I was a young girl, new in politics, not used to this. Although you probably never get used to this anyway.

Since we are talking about our inhuman govt's audacity to scam us during a national crisis, here's a few questions on the PM Cares fund. Thread.👇
#BJPCoronaCorruption Question 1: Why was a new fund created when the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund already has a balance of 38 billion rupees?
