Yesterday, another media piece came out about detransition in the Atlantic. Within one of the authors slanders one of our developers, who he had originally consulted to recruit participants from her old community, by calling her a lying TRA on the attack in both papers and press.
Such behavior is unacceptable. Yet what is most depressing is the fact that our members had been on very good terms with this researcher. He needed help, we trusted his intentions and that he was acting in good faith, only to be met with radio silence, dismissals and slander.

This is true. Last night we found info from an anti-trans "therapist" associated with Genspect who suggested developing "protocols" of MDMA assisted therapy for "victims of gender medicine".
It is the pairing of structured psychotherapy with the consumption of MDMA, a psychedelic commonly known as ecstasy or molly. MDMA assisted psychotherapy is being explored for use with PTSD in the MAPS clinical trials. clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04…

Today we grieve the fall of Roe v Wade, the federal case that had previously guaranteed access to abortion across the US.
Access to abortion is an essential health need for many. Not having this protected means those most marginalized will die or be incarcerated.
Make no mistake: reproductive control ultimately benefits the cis, white supremacist and Christo-nationalist carceral state. This is not about protecting life, as protecting life would mean uplifting our communities currently drowning in the larger society.

As some of the people interviewed for the @nytimes piece "The Battle Over Gender Therapy", we have grave concerns for its platforming of trans conversion therapy group Genspect. To date they have not been addressed. In January, while your book was being drafted, you have promoted Jennifer Bilek's "research" that targets Soros, Stryker, Pritzker, and Rothblatt as the "billionaire funders of transactivism". Current claims that you have no association with her will not erase this fact.

Earlier, @60Minutes released their segment about trans health care in the US. To represent detrans people, they platformed a leader of GCCAN and recommended them as a resource without digging into her or the organization’s background.
Let’s be clear: GCCAN is a front group.
I was part of the group’s founding as Vice President and one of two trans members of the board. While the claim was noble, as GLS tries to portray in the segment, in practice the organization and its members lobby in opposition to health care equity.

Yesterday was #DetransAwarenessDay, a day that should have highlighted unity between trans and detrans people for collective liberation.
Unfortunately, as the day progressed, it became evident that the initiative was uplifted by groups that reinforce systematic oppression.
We watched as practitioners or advocates of conversion therapy advertised themselves, trolls circulated trans-antagonistic memes, and even "positive" coverage from white nationalist media.
None of this benefits trans, detrans, or gender non-conforming people seeking health care.
