🪑 TIP 5/7: Strength on the bench

Most fantasy managers, myself included, tend to opt for maximising their funds on their starting XI at the beginning of the FPL season, with a paper thin bench.

🧢 TIP 4/7: Favourable Formations

The 2021/22 FPL season has seen some significant position reclassifications in FPL, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.0m) switching back from a midfielder to a forward perhaps the most significant.

However, it was 3-5-2 which prevailed towards the end of the season and that could be the likely set-up for most managers this year, with a larger pool of midfielders to select from and a lack of premium strikers.

Tip number two is intrinsically linked to tip number one: during the very early stages of the season, it's important to select the reliable big name players as your captain for the opening gameweeks.
