Authentic Facts About the Holy Qur'an

The literal meaning of the word Qur’an is translated as “that which is being read.”

The word “Qur'an” is repeated 70 times in the Book of Allah itself.

The Holy Qur'an has a total of 30 juz/ chapters/ sections. There are 114 Surahs in the Holy Qur'an, starting from Surah Al-Fatihah, and ending on Surah An-Nas.

Surah Baqarah (2nd chapter) is the longest Surah and Surah Kawthar (108th chapter) is the shortest Surah in the Qur'an Majeed.

Baitul Ma’mur: The frequented house

Baitul Ma’mur, also known as the “Frequented House”, is a prototype of Ka'bah, the House of Allah (SWT), and it is located outside of the human realm. It is located directly above the Ka’bah in the highest Heavens,i.e. the seventh Heaven, and just above it, is Allah’s SWT throne.

This sacred and Holy house is also mentioned in Surah Tur of the Holy Quran, where Allah says:

He was born in Mecca & Buried in Medina

Shortly after his birth his mother died.
His father was already dead before his birth. So he became an orphan During this time, his uncle Abu Talib and his grandfather Abdul-mutlib took care of him.

At the age of 9 he started going on trade trips along with his uncle.

His character was respected by all. People throughout Medina including the Jews gave him the name of “The Trustworthy.”

The story of prophet Zakariyya (Zecheriah) AS

Prophet Dhul Kifl AS

The Story of Dhul-Kifl (also referred to as Zul-Kifl) is a bit of a mystery.
There is not much information known or recorded and a lot of debate as to whether he truly is a Prophet.
The literal meaning of Dhul-Kifl is “Possessor of the Fold”. What we know about him is that he was a righteous man & ‘company of the good’ who was also extremely patient. This is based off two mentions of Dhul-Kifl in the Glorious Qur’an.
