RIDICULOUS: Bill Clinton’s Vice President, Al Gore, flew his private jet to Davos to lecture the world about climate change and reducing carbon emissions; while taking a swing at the UAE’s Envoy. The swing did not land, and here’s why: 🧵 1. Al Gore’s core argument here is that an oil producing country cannot have efforts to reduce carbon emissions. He provides zero logical reasons to support his claim, because there are none. What Al Gore chose to ignore says more about his honesty and integrity:

How dare you lump the UAE with Iran on women’s rights!?!

The 2022 Global Gender Gap report ranks the UAE as a leading country in gender equality in the region. Link: www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_GGGR_…

The upcoming tweets will prove that the World Index did zero research. 1/ 2. The UAE is ranked 24th among 170 countries and the highest regionally in the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security’s 2021 WPS Index: giwps.georgetown.edu/the-index/

3. Furthermore, more UAE women than men complete secondary education and enroll in university. 2/

The only living ruler that has earned my public praise and respect is President HRH Mohamed Bin Zayed.
A thread outlining why:

1. HRH has zero tolerance for extremism and terrorism.

2. HRH protects everyone equally: Muslims, Jews, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, etc. 3. Along with his government, he changed the face *and direction* of the Middle East by showing surrounding countries what they’re able to achieve if funds are managed properly.

4. Groundbreaking achievements, including being the first Arab country to explore Mars.

I hope President Biden is watching how Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman is treated in the region. Erdogan shakes his hand with both hands, Jordan’s King doesn’t walk before MBS does, and Egypt’s President races to receive him, maintaining two steps behind. All of these … 1/ are signs for those who understand how the Middle East/region functions. In short, they are recognizing MBS as a geostrategic player, while they (Jordan, Turkey, Egypt) are pivots. They also, very clearly, recognize him as the legitimate heir to the throne. 2/

Islamic Law prohibits the ill from fasting. For those who are ill, but not severely ill, and can fast, they fast - but take their medication (only) during the day and continue without consuming anything else. Then, they make up for these days (as a precaution) when/if they can. 1 Furthermore, there is no issue with medication, because many medications can be taken in the evening or early morning (before the fast begins and after it ends). There are other laws such as feeding poor people for breaking one’s fast. 2/4

This year it’s Time Square, Manhattan, NYC. In a few years they will take it to the White House. It might seem impossible to you now, but America today is no stronger than the countries this has already happened to. Screenshoot this tweet, I’ll remind you of it when it happens. The rise of Islamist Extremism happens through the community. Innocent and vulnerable Muslims think they’re just praying in public - whereas the Imams are using them to demonstrate a show of strength. This is also how Islamists make politicians bend over for votes.
