Proving #COVID19 health status will become a fact of life.
Concerns about protecting individual liberties are understandable but a digital health passport is our best option to protect our overall liberty & reduce lockdowns.
Here’s why we believe the UK govt must act now⬇️
1️⃣ Last month we published analysis of the disjointed #COVID19 travel systems in place around the world.
Our report concludes that the only way to restart international travel will be for travellers to show their Covid vaccine or test status. bit.ly/3u2nis7

As the UK is set to host @COP26 at the end of the year, it’s crucial that the government uses 2021 to set an ambitious climate change agenda that defines the decade.

Firstly, the government has committed to publishing its plan to reach net-zero emissions by 2030, this year. A strong strategy could set the template for other countries but what should it address? @timbolord sets out the key questions bit.ly/3qj1aaY

Tony Blair: “I thought hard about whether to take stock on the Labour Party’s 120 anniversary… But then it occurred to me that there are only 2 people born in the last 120 years who have won an election for Labour. And alas Harold Wilson is long gone.” bit.ly/2SLandQ

For many... our manifesto did not ignite hope. It ignited fear. It was a vast wish list.” bit.ly/2sha5AN

Research out today by @bankofengland
confirms @ianmulheirn’s analysis that high house prices are in fact the result of low interest rates - not insufficient house building. Housing scarcity's role in raising prices has been ‘negligible’.
So, the government’s plan to build 300,000 houses per year won’t solve the problem. It's time for a policy rethink.
Watch as @ianmulheirn builds a new approach to the UK's housing crisis👇

Effective communication has been pivotal for terrorist movements to ensure survival. As we look at the challenges ahead, @hoffman_bruce argues that policies which just kill or detain will not end the threats posed by these now dynamic & PR-savvy groups. bit.ly/2VIaaaE
The challenge of online extremism is explored in depth by @JamieJBartlett in his essay. Extremists use new technologies in unpredictable ways to spread hate. Policymakers must respond smartly with large strategic interventions that have maximum impact. bit.ly/2SMeGmx
