Good morning– defense witness testimony continues in the penalty phase of the murder trial for convicted quadruple killer Jose Larin Garcia. His aunt, Conseulo Maribel Larin Alaman, is testifying this morning about Larin Garcia's early life in El Salvador. Yesterday, Larin Garcia's mother, Yudis Vanegas, pleaded to the jury to think carefully before deciding whether to sentence her son to death.
"This is a life. He is a human," she said.

Good afternoon- after a delay this morning due power outage at the Larson Justice Center in Indio this morning, the penalty phase of the Palm Springs quadruple murder retrial for convicted 4x killer Jose Larin Garcia continues this afternoon with defense witnesses. First on the stand is Yudis Venegas, Larin Garcia's mother. She testified previously in this case about helping her son after the murders.
