With COVID-19 surging again, which rapid antigen test to use? @crwells10, @abhiganit, @alison_galvani, others & I compared the temporal efficacy of rapid antigen tests and RT-PCR for COVID-19 quarantine and surveillance.

Many analyses present a single “sensitivity” or do not quantify suppression of individual-level transmission; most address a generalized or single rapid antigen test. So we analyzed 18 RA tests over time for which FDA EUA data was available.
