The Colorado Senate is scheduled today to take a preliminary vote on Senate Bill 3, the measure that ban the manufacture and sale of certain semiautomatic rifles, shotguns and pistols.

But Dems may have a problem... There are 19 Dem votes right now for the bill if no one else defects. It needs 18 to pass. But that 19 number is squishy and there's a Dem "yes" vote out today...

BIG CD8 UPDATE: Adams County Clerk Josh Zygielbaum says there are 19,943 ballots countwide left to count today. He said he was wrong last night when he said there were 32K.

THREAD: About three weeks ago when we set out to investigate coronavirus-related deaths at Colorado nursing homes/senior care centers we weren't sure what we would find.

But we quickly realized there was something really bad happening... The state only started releasing information about where outbreaks were happening on March 28 after an open records request from @DenverPost. But the state didn't provide details about infections and deaths.
