Breaking: Special counsel report calls deputy gangs a 'cancer' inside the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department following a historic series of investigative hearings in 2022.

The report found alleged active deputy gangs in at least four stations.

"I have not seen the report yet, but the entire process was created for the exclusive purpose of influencing the 2022 elections," Villanueva said.

Breaking: Sheriff’s deputies are taking boxes from Civilian Oversight Commissioner Patty Giggin’s Los Angeles home, part of a sprawling investigation that includes Metro and Supervisor Sheila Kuehl. The COC has held a series of investigative hearings into alleged gangs in LASD. Giggin’s lawyer Austin Dove confirms detectives took a computer, flash drives and an “Official Police Tow” just showed up to take her car.

“This is harassment!” Giggins says. Dove says that is not in the warrant. Tensions escalate.

NEW: An East LA deputy alleges a hostile work environment and "unrelenting" harassment by the #Banditos deputy gang in 2019. Deputy Robert Coyle says he was given "freeway therapy" when he requested to be transferred away and then moved to the jails when he sued.
@SpecNews1SoCal In the court docs, Coyle says the #Banditos gave him excessive calls for service and then withheld back up. He also alleges that other deputies assumed because he "was white, he must be an undercover FBI agent and harassed him."

An anonymous deputy claims the city paid millions of dollars for services they never received.

The whistleblower claims detectives regularly logged unauthorized duties on the city's dime - resulting in understaffing the number on patrol.

There are now four whistleblowers with similar stories of alleged deputy gang activity by so-called "Executioners" at the Compton sheriff's station, according to attorney Alan Romero.

They are all in fear for their lives, especially after one found a dead rat on his doorstep. Deputy Art Gonzalez - whose testimony is now public - has not received any protection from @LASDHQ after reporting alleged gang activity by a group of 15-20 deputies with matching skull tattoos.

Instead, he says his initial, anonymous complaint was quickly leaked to the gang:

WATCH: Gonzalez said the Executioners controlled the work schedule and boosted arrest numbers at the station. He accused them of falsely reporting suspects had guns in order to justify use of force.
