Worryingly, experienced U.S. soldier, John McIntyre, who went to fight for Ukraine, defected to Russia, and appeared on 🇷🇺 state TV which said he'd provided military intelligence to Moscow.

There are almost certainly more like him yet to be discovered.

It appears a lot of people inc media have been duped by this guy

Likely bc he was there early on after full-invasion - it was quite easy to create a fictional online 'war soldier' legend to collect donations and allegedly defraud people
