[Interim Update of User Swap Incident]

At 4am UTC, our team was alerted to a trade that encountered an unusually low return on the user’s swap.


Our team is working hard to resolve this unfortunate matter.
Summarized details below ⬇️ 2/12
Recap:
A user tried to trade 3CRV, a Curve LP token containing USDC-USDT-DAI on KyberSwap UI. This is atypical as one would withdraw LP tokens from a pool, not trade it.
This made it possible to create a deviation seen in this swap, as 0x routed into an almost empty pool.

We identified and neutralized an exploit on the KyberSwap frontend. Affected users will be compensated. We have summarized the details in this thread⬇️ 2/ At 3.24pm GMT+7 we identified a suspicious element on our frontend. Shutting down our frontend to conduct investigations, we identified a malicious code in our Google Tag Manager (GTM) and immediately disabled it.
