Using Military & Veterans to justify your hatred and bigotry for LGBTQ is an insult to everything we swore to defend. We took an oath to defend the Constitution for ALL, not just for you.

We The People means EVERYONE.

BTW, May is Military Appreciation Month, sorry you missed it And before you say "It's not thrown in everyone's faces like LGBTQ, you should sit down. It's thrown in civilians faces year round.

I can throw a rock and hit a restaurant, hotel, or other establishment where I get a discount every day of the year.

Let me explain something and TRY to make you understand.

My anxiety stems from PTSD, so telling me that most of the things yI worry about will never happen doesn't register with me. The things that trigger my anxiety ALREADY happened. It's a different type of anxiety. I'm already hypervigilant, and I'm working on that, but certain things can trigger an anxiety attack. Certain smells, certain things people say, certain situations, certain environments, even another person's appearance, or the tone they use.

If your child is 17 but will be 18 on, or before, 11/8/22 and wants to vote, find your state in this thread to see when you can pre-register them to vote. I know my state requires registration/pre-registration at least 30 days before Election Day, so look into your state as well. California, Colorado, Delaware, Washington DC, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia and Washington permit voter preregistration beginning at 16 years old.

Another little boy in need of education.

Water vapor concentrations are a result of the warming that other gasses, like carbon dioxide emit.

More non-condensable gasses creates warmer air, warmer air holds more water vapor, more water absorbs more heat. It's simple science. It's funny that you mentioned electricity in an earlier tweet, because emissions from burning coal, and natural gas to produce electricity accounts for 25% of those greenhouse emissions, which makes it the largest single source worldwide.

You want to honor the Military, Veterans, and the fallen? Great.

Word of advice...

That money you would lose by offering us a discount would be better served if you sent it to a charity that works with homeless Veterans. They need it more than we do. The money you would spend organizing a parade would be better served to honor our sacrifice if you sent it to a charity that works with Veterans with PTSD. They need that more than they need a parade.

MAGA swears Democrats don't care about Veterans and never do anything to help them.

The American Rescue Plan proves otherwise. Not ONE Republican voted to pass it. Not one.

Want to know what was part of it?

Let's begin. $14.5 billion for COVID-19 related health care, including IT & facility requirements, ensuring access for 9.2 million enrolled Vets, as well as resources for Veterans currently receiving housing support and an estimated 37,000 homeless Veterans.

But wait, there's more!

For those saying that Trump isn’t responsible for the terrorist attack at the Capitol, let me break it down for you.

Did he specifically TELL them to storm the Capitol? No, but THEY believed there was a threat because he lied and said there was. (thread) Think of it like this. A woman lies to her father/brother/friend, and tells them that her husband has been beating her, even though he hasn’t.

The father/brother/friend gets angry, right?

Let me stop this argument now. Clearly, too many people never took a civics course and have no idea what Freedom of Speech means.

No Constitutional rights were violated when Trump was suspended from Twitter, GOP cucks lost followers, or Parler was removed from Amazon. The First Amendment guarantees you the right to speak without fear or repercussions from the GOVERNMENT.

The First Amendment does NOT guarantee you an audience, or a platform.

How am I?

I’m tired. I’m angry. I’m worried.

This is the second time in my life that I’ve had to watch one of my children suffer and have been helpless to stop it. The only difference is that this time it was preventable.

This time, it didn’t have to happen. My son, who rarely went out, but never left the house without a mask, got Covid.

Why? Because idiots who only care about themselves decided wearing a mask was too much to ask.

You wear a mask to protect OTHERS from whatever YOU may be carrying. It’s not a difficult concept.

Let me get this right, sweetcheeks.

You would go apeshit if I disparaged Melania Trump of posing nude and said that wasn’t tasteful, classy, or befitting a First Lady, but you are ok with people disparaging the impending FLOTUS her title that she damn well earned? BTW, @MichelleVaitkus, the term “doctor” derives from the Latin word for "teacher" and originally referred to a small group of theologians who had approval from the Church to speak on religious matters, and later being used to refer to qualified academic professionals.

I don't know who needs to hear this today, but...

Lincoln wasn't the "beacon of hope" people think he was. He was a blatant racist.

Emancipation was a military measure. Many slaves had fled to the Union, and they didn't have a plan of how to deal with them. Emancipation, would undermine the Confederacy while also providing the Union with a new source of manpower to defeat the South.

Emancipation was to be gradual, it also didn’t apply to border slave states like Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky and Missouri.

I laugh when someone says they prefer Trump over Obama in regards to jobs and economy.

Annual economic output under Trump was 2.5%, compared to 2.4% under Obama.

Economic growth under Trump was barely above both Obama and Bush before the pandemic. The last three years of President Obama’s administration saw an increase of 8.1 million jobs and a 2 percentage-point drop in the overall unemployment rate.

Under Trump, the number of jobs increased by 6.55 million in his first three years, and unemployment dropped by 0.7%

Really? Because @JoeBiden has actually had one of the most consistent records in Washington, from his time as a Senator through his time as VP. I challenge you to come up with something to challenge these points other than a catchy phrase. Biden agrees with Trump that China is breaking international trade rules, unfairly subsidizing Chinese companies, and discriminating against U.S. firms and stealing intellectual property.

Tell me why you think that's wrong.

To understand a military veteran you must know:

We left home as teenagers, or in our early twenties, for an unknown adventure.

We loved our country enough to defend and protect it with our lives.

We said goodbye to friends, family, and everything we knew. We were taught the basics and then we were scattered into the wind, to every corner of the world.

We found new friends who became family.

We became brothers and sisters, regardless of race, color, or creed.

We had plenty of good times, and plenty of bad times.

A friend sent this to me, I wanted to share.

#BlackLivesMatter

400 years ago white people brought black people here, enslaved them & sold them, treated them as less than human for 250 years, while white men built the country and created its laws and its systems of government. 10-15 generations of white families got to grow and flourish and make choices that could make their lives better.

Then 150 years ago white people "freed" black people from slavery. But then angry white people created laws that made it impossible for them to vote.

A little history lesson a friend sent to me.

Did y'all hear what happened in Boston?

In Boston, during a verbal dispute, an unarmed teenage boy was forcefully hit in the head with the butt of a weapon by local law enforcement. Word of the incident spread quickly, and a large number of locals gathered in the street where the incident had happened to protest almost immediately.

As the crowd grew, angry protesters shouted slogans; some business owners, fearing property damage, shut their doors.
