Our keynote speaker @tsawallis will speak on "Predicting eye movements in images and video: Recent progress and future challenges.".
He will review advances in probabilistic models that predict observer gaze from visual content & their limitations. 2/n

I observed young female students crowding the keynote speakers on several occasions, asking questions & deep in discussion. The enthusiasm was palpable.

What are the #HumanFactors challenges of #AutomatedVehicles? Looking forward to hearing @NatashaMerat's keynote at #AOW2019. Will automated transport add to our daily struggles of 'getting things done' or lighten it? How will it transform societies?
I was humbled in our "Embodied Vehicle" @AutomotiveUI workshop today. When we proposed it, we were thinking of discussing: 1) symbiosis between vehicle & driver 2) communicate telematics data to human senses 3) respond to driver's intent from physio data 4) and more...
