Highly abridged email I've just sent re opportunity for people who identify as female or LGBTQIA+ :
1. How can one identify as female?
Female is a sex class not an identity (Hilton et al 2021). In addition to having a biological sex, some people (not all) have a gender identity and in some cases that gender identity does not align with their biological sex.

@HJoyceGender Surely the trust’s mistake was to grant this transwoman (M) access to F changing rooms?
It is completely inappropriate for anyone to make derogatory comments about TW.
But it seems the underlying issue was F objecting to:
a) M observing undressed F.
b) M being undressed around F.
@HJoyceGender Bearing in mind that:
~ 2/3 of transwomen are attracted to F.
~ 90% of transwomen have not had genital surgery.
~ 50% of M admit at least one act of voyeurism & 60% would like to. There is no reason to think TW would be different to other M in that regard.
Thus F want privacy.
