NEW: Last night I raised an important point of order @lambeth_council
994 days ago I was elected to represent the residents and community of #Streatham St. Leonard's ward as their Councillor and be their voice in the Council.

Incredibly 994 days later I have still never made my maiden speech in the Council chamber.
994 days later and I have never been called to ask a supplementary Question during Councillors Question Time.
I have been continuously blocked by the Council Leadership. 2/

Was great to give my second in-person Councillors report @StreathamSLLab last night but I was very disappointed that 4 new young members, who've recently moved to the ward, were blocked from standing for vacant branch officer positions. 1/
These important branch officer positions including Youth, LGBT, Disabilities, BAME and Women's Officer have been vacant for many months and there were local candidates who had nominated themselves unnopposed and turned up to the meeting excited to get involved in the branch

An absolutely shocking indictment of members leaving @UKLabour in droves.
This week #Streatham CLP will meet at a venue with a maximum 100 capacity.
1/
To put this into context, 3 years ago we were regularly filling the same venue for local branch meetings!
At the same time we were packing out large venues in #Streatham such as school and college halls with 500 to 1,000 capacity for our CLP Meetings.
