A-Zhan had a very special tradition that he follows without fail. Every Friday he is taken to his beloved Shushu's house to be babysat while his parents work.

He arrives at seven A.M. already fed and ready for the day, which pleases his shushu greatly. His tiny hands hold onto his uncle's finger as he waves quietly from the door to see his parents off.

"Well, A-Zhan," Lan Qiren asks softly as he shuts the door.

"Shall we begin our routine?" He is given the most serious of nods from the little four year old.

Wei Ying let out a slow breath and used the light from his screen to get a better look around his surroundings.

Directly behind him was a wall. Given the stale air and cold temperature, he wagered a guess they were underground somewhere.

To his left were a set of metal bars, dividing him and another cell. He could see a female laying on the ground, her clothes were in tatters, her body bruised, and he could just barely make out the rise and fall of her chest. Hearing those words so close to his ear, the warm breath against his sensitive skin, it all felt like too much. A shiver traveled down his spine, goosebumps erupting all over his arms. But his eyes also misted over with tears- tears he did not understand. He felt so incredibly emotional and he wasn't sure why.
