Dramatic developments in #Iraq
Hours after Muqtada al-Sadr’s followers withdrew from the protests, it became clear that the numbers of others are few. The security forces go towards the protest squares in #Baghdad & other cities. Why did this happen and how? (1) Yesterday, Muqtada Al-Sadr was insulted when accounts covering the demonstrations launched campaign against him because the demonstrations that he called for expulsion of U.S forces from the country with the participation of Shiite factions close to Iran (2)

Strange move by US via Al-Hurra channel which issued program criticize the top Shi'ite cleric Ali Sistani at this critical time in #Iraq, this confirms again that US continue its mistake in classifying Iraq's Shiites without any effort to win Iraqi national Shiites from others(1) Yesterday,Alhurra issued program on corruption of religious institutions in Iraq. There are 2 govt institutions specialized in Shiite&Sunni, but the program also accused cleric Ali Sistani of corruption. I am not discussing the truth of this or not, but the timing was very bad(2)
