I met @dfinzer in 2017 shortly after starting Dharma Protocol. After (unsuccessfully) trying to recruit him to join Dharma, we kept in touch.

When CryptoKitties happened, Devin told me about an idea he had to build an ERC721 marketplace. Needless to say, that was a good idea.

1/ Is it *truly* possible to prevent crypto assets from being traded in secondary markets?

Thread ⬇️ 2/ The most obvious motivating example is tokenized securities, most of which will require some degrees of restricted secondary trading, but this is crucially relevant to decentralized governance as well, insofar as vote-buying needs to be prevented.
