Imran Khan seems to not know that Qazi Faiz Isa brazenly lies about his father and grandfather, and exaggerate their role to project them as some sort of great, principled people. They were not!

There's well-documented evidence which prove Qazi Isa was corrupt, and offered his services to the military dictator.

For now, I am sharing one such evidence, penned by no one else but Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah himself. Qazi Isa collected donations for Anjuman-i-Islamia Baluchistan to establish a school but then he would not hand over the donations to the Anjuman. It was only when Jinnah himself intervened in the matter, and asked Qazi Isa to hand over the amount. He reluctantly did that but claimed expenses and lesser amount in donations than what the Anjuman demanded.Image

In this scripted and choreographed to-the-minute interview, Qazi Faez Isa claims that his father and Jinnah not only had the relation of a leader-follower, Pir-o-Murshid, but that there was more to their relationship, and they were very close because, acc. to Faez Isa, Jinnah wrote his father TWO letters in which he addressed his father as "My dear Isa".

I have seen many who try to win favor with the state by claiming to have some very unique and special relationship with the father of the nation. This seems such a case. See the next tweet who else Jinnah used to address as "My dear".

Exactly 68 yrs ago in 1954, Governor General Ghulam Muhamad, with the help of Army, dissolved the 1st Constituent Assembly of Pak & reconstituted the cabinet forcing three* new ministers in including Gen. Ayub & Gen. Iskandar Mirza as Defense & Interior Ministers respectively.🧵 Pakistan, at that time, was politically very volatile and unstable. East-Pakistan was already put under martial law removing the elected Chief Minister Fazal Haq few months ago where governor Major General Iskandar Mirza ruled with an iron fist.

One of the first high-profile *murder* of a Pakistani on foreign soil was of Shahnawaz Bhutto, brother of Benazir Bhutto, who was found dead in his apartment in Paris in 1985.

Bhutto's family suspected Gen. Zia-Ul-Haq and Shah Nawaz's Afghan wife for his death.🧵 Image When Zia's martial law regime executed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the then PM of Pakistan, in a sham trial, his both sons went to Kabul and launched a guerilla war under their militant org Al-Zulfikar. Shah Nawaz was leading the training of Al-Zulfikar militants in Afghanistan.

Abt 25 yrs ago, the Taliban morality police was the major reason that we left Kabul to the disappointment of our students in the computer learning institute that we had set up ourselves during the volatile early months of the Taliban rule.

Here’s how it started & ended for us.🧵 Keep in mind that it was the time when the civil war had entered its final phase & in favor of the Taliban and Kabul had fell them. Economic & security situations was still very bad. But we (an Afghan, a Pakistani & I) had decided to open a *computer learning institute in Kabul.

Historic photographs of the 'wrestling' match where Zbysco remained in a motionless kneeling position for 2 hours and three quarters & didn't wrestle Gama disappointing the large crowds who had come to see a wrestling match. Their jeers & boos failed to make him wrestle Gama. Gama had challenged the famous wrestlers including Zybsco when he toured London in 1910. Newspapers ran stories of the 'silence' of Zybsco and accepting his challenge but he did there was much excitement and interest in the giants facing each other in the ring.

False-flag ops of a different kind!

'...another 'GEO' official disclosed to an officer of a European diplomatic mission that they [GEO TV] had taken themselves off the air in order to blame the political party, and garner support for the station.'

The confession in para 11👇 Image When the Group Editor of Geo was queried by the US embassy staff he said that they know that many of their reporters have political agendas, are paid by ISI, military intelligence, Jamaat-e-Islami, or other interests but that they prefer not to fire or reprimand these reporters. I think it was PPP that started hiring lobbyists in Washington. Mark Siegal, via Benazir's friend Peter Galbraith, was allegedly given a contract in 1989-90 during Benazir's 1st tenure for $250K.

Locke Lord, Siegal's firm, was bringing $1 Million from Pak about 10 yrs ago alone. Image 'PPP paid $100,000 to Washington lobbyist for Bilawal meetings'

Imran Khan public stance on US policy on WoT + Drone Strikes vs his private conversations with the Americans!

US govt declassified document on IK meeting with US Congress delegation from Feb 2010!

Americans were rather surprised by IK blunt talk!

Asfandyar Wali Khan endorsing & defending Drone Strikes in Pakhtunkhwa!

Reading this cable upset me the most. It's a conversation between Asfandyar Wali Khan, the Pashtun nationalist leadership of Pakhtunkhwa, and the Americans about drone strikes & military ops in Pakhtunkhwa. 'People in the Waziristan never have protested the U.S. drone attack because they know the GOP has no way to stop extremism there without drones. The only ones protesting drones were intellectual liberals sitting in Lahore and Islamabad. ' ~ Mashar Asfandyar Wali Khan.

'I think the US did not quite realize the extent to which the people of Pakistan would be prepared to accept economic distress and hardship for the sake of the honor and integrity of their country. [...] they want to have friends not masters.'

—President Ayub Khan in 1967. Right from the day Pakistan was created, Pakistan was meant to be used and exploited to fight West's war on communism and Soviet Union.

They did use Pakistan for that purpose, and continue to exploit it for their similar wars.

Once a very proud Prime Minister of Pakistan secretly sought opinion of the US president if he should go to Syria or not during the Arab-Israel war in 1973.

Pak PM was informed in Ankara that 'He [US] president doesn't care which.' The PM, however, decided not to go. PM also chose to inform US that Pak army wished to send a brigade to Syria to fight along the Arabs, and that Arabs put pressure for the same on him but that he argued against it, and instead is only providing ammunition to the Syrians.

Did you know?

It was publicly alleged by the British media (Daily Telegraph) that CIA funded Mohtarama Fatima Jinnah's bid for presidency against Gen. Ayub Khan in 1965. This explosive story was published months after the 1965 elections.
Ayub's relations had begun to detoriate🧵 with the US after his reluctance to act according to the suggestions of Washington during and after the Sino-Indian war of 1962.

This sub-thread offers some more points and explanation of what unfolded between Pak and the US during the Sino-Indian war.

Did you know that right from the day Pak came into being, US was seriously planning to use it to fight communism/Soviet Union?

By 1959, Pak was tied with the US in four security arrangements, & there was already an operational US spy/air base in Peshawar with 3000 Americans. The curse known as the "Great Game" (game of influence, control, exploitation, imperialism and colonialism) that gripped south and central Asia in the 19th century continue to haunt this region where first Russians/Soviets competed against the British and then the Americans.

#RememberingHamzaBaba, the great Sufi poet and also a zealous political worker of the Pakistan Movement.

Exactly 101 years ago in Nov 1920, the British govt issued a statement in Pashto in the then NWFP to explain the events that were taking place in Iraq at that time. They were trying to counter any anti-colonial campaign that might have resulted because of how they acted in Iraq. In the statement itself, they mention that Naqib (Talib al-Naqib), who was exiled in Bombay, is being made minister in Iraq along with other 17-18 natives to form a temporary govt unless an agreement on permanent setup is achieved. They pleaded the case for Naqib by mentioning

The Hindutva fascism in India, and specially in the occupied Kashmir is thriving on the "silence" of the world. #KashmiriLivesMatter As much as I hate to say it but no one from the outside world, incl. claimants of the free world or from the Muslim world, is going to come to the liberation of these innocent people.

Dr. Abdul Ghani returned from Britain to Punjab bringing with him a white lady, not his wife but his adopted mother.

Dr. Ghani reminded the elderly lady of her passed away son. She would wait in the street to see Ghani leave or return to his residence
1/2 ImageImage A glimpse of him consoled the grieving mother. When Dr. Ghani came to know about this, he told her that he would visit her often and that she could accompany him to Punjab as well when he would return home. And that's exactly what happened. He brought her to his hometown.

This is widely believed among Pashtuns that 'Damman' (musical entertainers and dancers) have always been non-Pashtuns who came from other places into Pashtun society, and adopted the local language and culture.

However, Pashtun culture and literature is rich in poetry, songs, music and dances but Pashtuns in general have a dislike for those who adopt entertainment (singing, music, dancing, acting*) as a profession.
Things have changed today. Just a bit. There are many Pashtuns in the entertainment industry even from conservative & religious families.
