A month ago I found my mom collapsed in her home. I didn’t know if she was alive or not. She was and is alive.
She has spent the last month in hospital and rehab gaining a bit of strength.
Yesterday she left rehab. She’s well enough leave. But not enough to live her own home.
So mom has moved in with my husband and I are for the tome being in our apartment where I can care for her.
This first day and night has been challenging.
I’m unsure of myself and of her.
And I now have to start navigating the twists and turns of figuring out support care.
