On crime: somethings settled

1. There is a crime strategy that has been outlined time and time again. It’s time to end this “no crime plan”argument.

2. If the infrastructure to allow the police and army to properly do their work existed before, why would the government have 2+/ to spend over 30 billion dollars to
a. Repair over 110 police stations
b. Buy four big ships to patrol our shores.
3. Build a forensics lab and DNA lab.
4. Build new Doppler Radar capabilities etc etc
5. Install over 1000 Jamaica Eye cameras

Hey Doc, actually, the current approach in the Protected Area which is defined and being marked by the Forrestry department.

This approach came out of decades of consultations and compromise.

The current issue is that some groups have an expansive view of the cockpit. There is a view that Christiana is in the cockpit but if we look at the the variables used the define it would not be.

What we have as the CCPA is a great compromise that protect water, broad leaf forests and culture.

The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has taken note of the comments made by the People's National Party (PNP) as it relates to the environmental management of Jamaica and our positioning in the international arena. To be abundantly clear, the JLP rubbishes the claims put forward and labels them as hypocritical and baseless. Furthermore, the attacks on the Prime Minister while representing the country at COP26 is a vulgar display of partisan political interest over national interest.
