It was only a year ago that voters from all across #GA gathered in the State Capitol to demand that every single vote was counted. And it was only a year ago that while standing in solidarity with my constituents and as a sitting member of the State Senate, I was arrested. 1/4 Nothing could have ever prepared me for that day. Even now, thinking about the peaceful voices being #suppressed in the very place where they should have been the most elevated, my heart breaks. That being said, I would not hesitate to stand by my constituents all over again. 2/4
