News Release: Commissioner Hardesty approves new Pedestrian Design Guide, helping add more space for trees while preserving access for people with disabilities and other pedestrians
The three-minute spaces will allow all for a shared parking space while still providing high-turnover parking in front of hotel entrances. Hotels with valets may be allowed up to 20 minutes when a valid valet slip is on the vehicle’s dash.
As part of the SW Broadway Bike Improvements, the bureau will install protected bike lanes between SW Oak and Clay Streets, upgrade traffic signals, and implement parking changes.

The public is advised to avoid the SW Madison to SW Alder Street & from SW Fourth to Waterfront Park on 8/17. PBOT’s First and Jefferson SmartPark Garage will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday night and remain closed to the public all day on Saturday.
