1/State Legislatures and Judiciary were granted financial autonomy in the 4th Alteration to the 1999 Constitution, which was passed by @nassnigeria in 2017 and signed by @MBuhari in June 2018.

@SituationRoomNg 2/To facilitate compliance by State Governments, the President set up a Presidential Implementation Committee on the Autonomy of State Legislature & Judiciary in March 2019 to ensure funds appropriated to these two tiers of government at the State level are paid to them directly
