Just by way of context, last week 46,104 people died of COVID-19. Less than 1 in 10 African health workers are fully vaccinated. 2/n

#COVID19 has shown us that leadership matters! I have been reflecting on effective leadership attributes. Here are my initial thoughts. What do you think?

1️⃣ Truthfulness — leaders valorize science, evidence and data and these factors drive decisions

1/n 2️⃣ Empathy —  towards the > 1 million people who have died and their families, and all those who have lost their health or livelihoods
