1/16 Are those who decline covid vax products selfish? Are those who accept them selfless?

Once upon a time there was a village which would regularly be visited by a phalanx of invisible Cling-Squirrels. 2/16 Sometimes 2-toed, sometimes 3 or 4-toed, the Cling-Squirrels were always obsessed w/ clinging to a human for a week, then moving on to a fresh as-yet un-visited human.

1/10 For 18 months, a massive propaganda/censorship campaign has lionized policies/demonized dissent related to business closures, lockdowns, masks & pharma product use. Dissenters have been painted as "selfish" "ignorant" "enemies of the people" Many absorbed it like sponges. 2/10 In 1956, psychiatrist Joost Meerloo, who lived through the Nazi occupation in the Netherlands wrote: "He who dictates and formulates the words and phrases we use, he who is master of the press and radio, is master of the mind."

1/10 First off, TY for this thoughtful response. While not scientist/academic, I've spent many years studying literature on infectious disease/paradigms of perceived risk/responsibility, and I appreciate the nuance you are bringing 2/10 I want to propose that the conceptualization of moral responsibility as it relates to viral respiratory disease have been overly focused on transmission which has resulted in a mis-location of responsibility for "preventing" viral-related morbidity/mortality.

1/4 The propaganda outright PUSHING people to purchase/use this experimental liability-free pharmaceutical product is widespread - emanating from the public health establishment, dinosaur media, corporations. washingtonpost.com/health/ukvaria… 2/4 Such intelligence-insulting pieces leap over the giant science vacuum we're in with regard to the question of relative and absolute risk with regard to these products, and start hammering away at how to "tackle" "vaccine hesitancy". psychologytoday.com/us/blog/writin…

Potential customer: I just want a cup of coffee.

Starbucks employee: I'm sorry, we can't sell that to you if you're not taking birth control pills. Image 2/12

Potential customer: What!

Starbucks: It's possible someone could get you pregnant while you're here. We just want our customers to be safe from unwanted pregnancy.

1/10 Some sincere questions on the logic (political concerns aside) of mandating mask-wearing: How likely is it that the average non-symptomatic person NOT wearing a mask (Person A) will do the following in our currently obtaining situation: 2/10 1. Encounter a non-mask wearing person who is concerned about OTHER people not wearing masks.
2. Get within six feet of a mask-wearing person (Person B) who has not invited that person to do so.

Whatever else vaccines are, they are risk-carrying, liability-free products sold-for-profit by a powerful industry. This is not controversial. That is why we have a federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. hrsa.gov/sites/default/ #NoOnHB1090 #VA @Dunnavant4VA 2/15 @Dunnavant4VA No defensible reason for VA legislature to give away right of Virginia parents to decide through their duly elected representatives if/when to add a recommended vaccine to list required for school admission. Every reason to keep that prerogative. #NoOnHB1090

1/5 Did you want to SEE the actual discussion about vaccine products that occurred on Bill Maher's show 3 days ago? Well, you can't because its been removed from youtube.

How's that #censorship tasting?

See rest of thread for one exchange: 2/5 B. Maher: I just saying vaccines, like every medicine, has side effects…so let’s not deny that. So let’s not deny that or pretend it doesn’t happen. Which ones? How much? How do we manage this? This is not crazy talk.
