Dec. 23, Judge Ryu granted a preliminary injunction to stop #SanFrancisco from enforcing ordinances that prohibit involuntarily homeless individuals from sitting, lying, or sleeping on public property. However, this does not mean #sweeps will cease completely. 2/The ruling, “does not prevent the city from enforcing laws against public nuisance, protecting accessibility and sidewalk path of travel, or abating unsanitary conditions.”
