What a find!

Very few of us know about the connection btn Netaji Bose & Pune.

The story goes as such:

Netaji was lodged in the Yerawda jail in Pune, between 13th April to 16 May 1936.

During this time, he wrote a couple of letters to Mr. D V Divekar, then editor of Kesari. ImageImageImage In this letter, Netaji fondly talks of his wish to learn Marathi, read more about the Maratha Empire, and talks about how all the communication of his is monitored / censored!

What a beautiful piece of history which connects Netaji with Pune.
