OMG, it's #bookshopday!

London's bookshops are the single best thing about the city. This is a fact. It's the reason I gave up Kindle and Amazon orders.

Entering a good bookshop feels like a hug. So here's a thread with my 10 favourite London bookshops: 10. @Hatchards — The oldest bookshop in London and the most imposing. It feels like you're entering a very rich person's library.

It's incredibly beautiful (that spiral staircase! the lighting on the shelves!). I probably only got one or two books there, I feel intimidated. 😳

Dieting, day 03. Grapes are technically allowed so just ate 0.75kg. Dieting, day 07. There's pancakes for breakfast at the office. Big fat tears roll down my cheeks.

Let me tell a quick story about #Iran, because it seems relevant today.

Shiraz. Nov 2014. This gentleman asked me to take a picture of him and his wife, so I took one with my phone too...

A few minutes later, he (literally) ran after me and asked why I was in Iran. (...) Image We chatted for a bit, he said he was a Maths teacher and a poet. And, a bit said, he said this before saying goodbye:

"Iran's government is Arab, not Persian. People here are good, we like Americans, Brazilians, Israelis... We're all brothers in this world." (...)

Have to read seven books in 36 days to meet the year's target. Challenging but doable if I choose titles well and don't slip. 😤 31 days and 5 books left. Christmas break should help. Doable. Definitely doable.

I don't think art is good or bad. It's a matter of liking it or not.

That said, 'Roma' is the worst movie in history. 'Roma' is so bad I'm cancelling my Netflix subscription. I can't sleep at night knowing my money is going into this.

Hoje a Bélgica jogou bem e teve muita sorte. O Brasil jogou benzaço e teve zero sorte. Não tinha como. Tô triste mas não puto.
