Some thoughts on the biblical Noah. I really do not understand the penchant to make this into a children's tale or the decorative theme for a children's room. It is a truly horrifying story. God, creates the world, and populates it. Then realizes it is not what God was hoping it would be (because what we create always takes on a life of its own -over which we have limited control) and so God destroys it.
