Every essential worker in Alberta needs to strike until the UCP takes the pandemic seriously and enforces a lockdown. They want us to continue working in conditions that endanger our lives; nurses & doctors especially. #AbLeg If politicians refuse to protect essential workers, then we should refuse to work. I don’t give a shit what women do. I don’t care if they choose to stay at home and raise kids or if they become astronauts. What I care about is a society that pressures women into sacrificing their independence & normalizes them doing so to the benefit of everyone around them. Historically, women have sacrificed careers and financial independence so their husbands could feel secure in their masculinity - trapping women in loveless marriages where the husband still benefits from all of the endless emotional labour of the wife while she gets nothing.

How the FUCK did they not anticipate violence in return to violence?

Communists are not liberals. We will shoot back.
