#Thread Fact finding report on cordon search in Hyderabad.
Observations:
- The Fact Finding committee found that most of the women were caught unaware and were both confused and afraid when the police barged in without notice or prior information.
@ssurepally @Kaneezfathimas - Cordon and search operations enable a range of human rights violations, including physical intimidation and assault, invasion of privacy, arbitrary and unlawful detention, collective punishment and destruction of private property.

Filed RTI application on 1st May at PMO to get certain information related to #PM_CARES. The PMO rejected and said "PM CARES is not public authority under ambit of section 2 (h) of RTI act.

Filed 1st appeal against the decision of CPIO which is illegal and misguiding.

1/8 The PM CARES is not under the ambit of section 8 and 9 of the RTI Act 2005.

The PM CARES got FCRA license, Income tax exemption under 80G for 100% exemption under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and qualify to be counted as CSR expenditure under the Companies Act, 2013.

I am sharing this thread In response to @bonthurammohan @CommissionrGHMC @CPHydCity decision to withdraw passes issued to NGOs engaged in relief work.

The @hydcitypolice , instead of allaying the fears of Rahmat, has gone ahead and arrested him. And for what? For speaking about his fears? Nowhere in the supposed voice message does he encourage any violence or provoked any one. Instead, he talks about defensive measures only. It is shocking that @CPhydcity has taken this sort of action against Rahmat, who said whatever he said as a layman, when those who are shouting provocative slogans "Deshh ke Ghaddaro ko - Goli Maaro Saalo ko" openly are roaming free on the streets.
